New to me (like everything that is old news in Blog Land) is Specimen Art! I really fell in love with this snowflake one I found at Racks & Mooby:
I was so excited I got the snowflakes on my most recent trip to Micheal's! Once home I thought: "Why am I doing snowflakes at Christmas time? I have a stack of Christmas paper from my advent calender and a die cut machine.. go cut yourself some Christmas!" So I did.
I put them on foam stickies so they have a little dimension. I may or may not have gotten out my laser level to make sure the lines were straight.. that would be kinda obsessive huh? I put it on a high shelf because (like most of my projects) it looks better from a distance. :)
I can hardly wait to do some Halloween ones! I love these at tatertots & jello. She did them in deep frames and {oooh} printed a grid to line them up.. love that!
I LOOOVVVEEEE this! Such a cute idea! The tiny reindeer noses are sooo adorable. And your comments ALWAYS make my day! I would love to re-post this if it's ok? And I am totally going to steal this idea. What cartridge did you use?
ReplyDeleteI saw the snowflakes, too, and it was new to me. :-) I like what you came up to a lot! Love the cute reindeer with the red noses. Very cute!
